There are many free and helpful resources all over the internet that small business can benefit from.  Here are several helpful tax and accounting small business resources we recommend (feel free to share your recommendations with us):

IRS – IRS website where you can search for Federal tax forms and information.

WHERE’S MY REFUND – Determine the status of your federal tax refund.

IRS TRANSCRIPTS – Access copies of your federal tax returns and tax documents (W2’s, 1099’s etc).

EFTPS  – Where you can make federal tax payments.

HEALTHCARE EXCHANGE – To determine eligibility and enroll in a qualified health care plan through the Federal Market Place.

SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION – United States Social Security Administration website with information and access to all aspects of Social Security.

FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF STATE – Where you can create or look up information on Florida LLC’s, Corporations, Fictitious names etc (consult your attorney or CPA prior to creating a new entity).

FINCEN – Where you can file your Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR)

FLORIDA STATE SALES TAX WEBSITE – Where you can file and pay your Florida sales tax online.

FLORIDA REEMPLOYMENT WEBSITE – Where you can file and pay your Florida payroll.

FINANCIAL CALCULATORS – Free financial calculators. Estimate your income taxes with free tax calculators, a home loan with a mortgage calculator and many more.

STATE LINKS – Where you can find links to all state and local government tax websites.

S CORP COMPENSATIONS – To determine reasonable compensation for a FLORIDA S Corporation Shareholder.

SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION  – An excellent organization that offers FREE or low priced information and classes.
